Guided by Art Across America as the weekly theme, young explorers will enjoy drawing and painting, printmaking, paper crafts, and more. This class emphasizes creativity and the exploration of artist’s materials.

Projects will change weekly to correspond with the nature-inspired theme.

This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours with a snack break outside.

Have fun while learning the basics and beyond of drawing and painting!

Students will be introduced to a variety of lessons and topics, with an emphasis this week on portraiture. Multiple techniques and mediums will be used, including pencil, pen and ink, cray-pas (oil pastels) and paint. Campers will draw inspiration from well-known artists and art movements while they build their drawing and painting skills.

This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours with a snack break outside.

Have fun while learning the basics (and beyond) of drawing! Use pencils, pen and ink, markers, cray-pas and other drawing tools to turn simple lines and shapes into amazing drawings. Campers study work from well-known artists for inspiration and build skills in drawing forms, animals and people. Class projects will change weekly to correspond with each week's Art Across America inspiring theme.
