Wayne Art Center’s Summer Art Camp 2023, now in its 39th year, offers 10 one-week sessions with morning, afternoon and late afternoon classes scheduled weekdays throughout the summer. Join us on a fun and creative adventure with The Art of Nature this summer as we discover a variety of animals and wonderous environments throughout the world. During each weekly destination, campers ages 5-17 will learn about famous artists who made a mark and learn about their styles and techniques through more than 200 diverse classes in drawing, painting, cartooning, ceramics, sculpture, photography, cooking, jewelry, and more. Enroll your children now and watch their creativity come alive! SAC 2023 SCHEDULE: Wayne Art Center’s Summer Art Camp offers families a wide array of flexibility with morning, afternoon and late afternoon classes. Parents can easily create a FULL-DAY camp week, by adding LUNCH BUNCH between morning and afternoon classes for their campers.
LUNCH BUNCH: 12:00 – 12:30PM Available ONLY to full-day campers. Campers, please bring a nut-free bag lunch & water bottle. Parents MUST register for LUNCH BUNCH each week if enrolling their children in a morning and afternoon session.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM LATE AFTERNOON SESSIONS: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM PRIVATE LESSONS: Individual art classes & music lessons can be arranged and customized to any child’s interests and abilities.SAC 2023 REGISTRATION: Enrollment opens Mid-March. Space is limited and registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Class space will not be reserved until full payment is received. WAC is member-supported. A current membership is required to enroll in any camp classes. Summer Art Camp registration closes at 1 pm on Friday prior to each camp session.
Summer Art Camp volunteers are an integral part of Summer Camp at Wayne Art Center! From class room set up, helping campers with art projects, snack breaks and classroom clean up, the extra help volunteers provide made all of our classes run smoothly. Medical, Emergency and Release Forms – New this year! All forms are to be completed through ePACT, a secure online emergency network. After an online registration is submitted, parents will receive an email from ePACT that contains a link to create an account; click on the ePACT link and follow the instructions to complete all medical and emergency information. Please check your email and contact us if you have not received the link within 2 weeks of registering for camp. Links are usually emailed 24 to 48 hours after registration. You MUST sign up for ePACT via the provided link ONLY. ePACT forms need to be completed, signed and submitted prior to the start of camp classes.
Mandatory ePACT forms required are as follows: · Medical & Emergency Forms · Drop-Off & Pick-Up Release FormsScholarships – Wayne Art Center offers a limited number of need-based scholarships. Requests must be sent in writing at least 30 days prior to the class start date. T-Shirts – Every camper receives one free SAC 2023 T-Shirt to design during each enrolled class.
