Known for paintings drenched in light and color, Meg Walsh is inspired by moments that often pass unnoticed. Her goal as an artist is to translate a scene, emphasizing what interests her most about a specific place at a moment in time. Though realistic in nature, her work has a strong abstract element, characterized by simplified shapes and limited values. She is an elected member of the historic Washington Society of Landscape Painters and a three-time juried artist of Wayne Plein Air, Plein Air Easton, and many other events. Her landscapes are featured in the book 100 Plein Air Painters of the Mid-Atlantic. Meg lives in Easton, Maryland.
