WAYNE ART CENTER ANNOUNCES ART QUILT ELEMENTS 2026
Wayne Art Center is pleased to announce Art Quilt Elements 2026, an international juried exhibition of contemporary fine art quilts. This biennial show features the work of 55 artists from 22 states and two international locations including Australia and Luxenberg. The exhibition will run from March 23 through April 25, 2026, and be on display in the Davenport, Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith and Vidinghoff Galleries. An awards ceremony and reception will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 3-5 pm. Exhibiting artists who are present will talk about their work during the Meet the Artists Gallery Talk. The work featured in Art Quilt Elements 2026 will also appear in an online gallery at artquiltelements.org.
This year’s jurors are award-winning mixed media fiber artist Toni Kersey, Karl Reichert, the Executive Director for the Textile Center in Minneapolis, MN and Danielle Williams, the Assistant Senior Managing Editor at Stampington & Company.
We deeply appreciate our community’s heartwarming response to Art Quilt Elements. Since its inception, this masterfully executed biennial exhibition has reaffirmed the pivotal role that Wayne Art Center plays in the evolution of the art quilts field. The breadth and distinctiveness of the works presented never cease to amaze the thousands of people who visit the Art Quilt Elements exhibition.
Wayne Art Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community through the arts.
