Hali MacLaren is the owner and jeweler behind the HKM Jewelry line, and she teaches jewelry making throughout the Philadelphia area. Her jewelry is inspired by the sea, and she strives to spread awareness about oceanic conservation through her work. Hali holds a BFA in jewelry and a minor in photography from The University of the Arts. MacLaren is currently on the board of the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen as Membership Secretary and was recently awarded Master Artisan Status.
