Enriching our Community through the Arts!

The first art center established on the Main Line, Wayne Art Center began welcoming students more than 80 years ago in a carriage house garage. Today, we open our doors to more than 20,000 visitors each year who come to experience the 500 art classes, workshops, lectures, exhibitions and special events offered.

Dedicated to enriching our community through the arts, the mission of Wayne Art Center is to afford artists and the broader community an interdisciplinary venue to explore, share and learn, while fostering a sense of community for arts education and appreciation.

Come, tap into your creative side, immerse yourself in art and enjoy everything Wayne Art Center offers!

You’re never too old or too young… Wayne Art Center’s dedicated faculty of professional artists and exceptional teachers offers high caliber art instruction in all phases of the fine arts, selective crafts, culinary arts, performing arts and music. Our creative outreach programs provide classes for individuals who demonstrate need, family entertainment programs and lectures and workshops led by local and visiting artists.

Discover an environment that stimulates creativity and builds a community through the arts. Visit our award-winning galleries, gardens, facilities and gallery shop. With works from local to internationally acclaimed artists, Wayne Art Center
