In 1991, Sharon graduated from Moore College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration. From 1992-1993 she completed graduate courses in English Literature at Villanova University, followed by a lucrative career in marketing and package design for numerous Fortune 500 companies. She has freelance experience in medical illustration, local and national ad campaigns, corporate identity creation, and hardscape designs installed in residential, commercial, and institutional properties. In a search to advance her skills and pursue a career in fine art, Sharon began her studies at Studio Incamminati under renowned painters Leona and Nelson Shanks, and graduated in 2018. Modeled on the traditional Italian accademia and French atelier schools, combined with the color language of the Impressionists, she enjoys putting these learned skills into practice in different painting genres. Sharon has studied under internationally recognized and award-winning artists and enjoys helping students grow by teaching the processes she’s learned.
