Wayne Art Center is pleased to present The Pursuit of Painting through Mark Making- Stefanie Lieberman & Students, an exhibition of artwork by Stefanie Lieberman as well as recent work created by her Wayne Art Center students. For over a decade, students have studied with Stefanie at the art center to learn all aspects of painting technique and to explore how to create expressive pieces. Stefanie’s popular classes at WAC including Light & Shadow, Fundamentals of Oils, Animal Painting and Painting with a Purpose offer opportunities for adult students working at all levels.
Stefanie Lieberman is an award-winning landscape, still life and animal painter and graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. An instructor at Wayne Art Center as well as Woodmere Art Museum and Whitemarsh Art Center, Stefanie has been teaching and guiding students as they pursue their individual artistic expression for nearly twenty years. Stefanie’s work has been featured in such publications as American Art Collector, Atlanta Style & Design, and Fine Art Connoisseur, Gallery Guide and the cover art of The Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her paintings are found in many private and public collections including the Rome Council of the Arts in Georgia, the Museum of American Art in Delaware and Crozier Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Stefanie’s work has been commissioned by institutions such as the Buckhead Club in Georgia, the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog in New York and The Vanguard Group and Chester County Hospital in Pennsylvania.
