Wayne Art Center is pleased to present a solo exhibition of works by Radnor Township resident Debbie Craley. Craley’s work has been included in numerous exhibitions at Wayne Art Center including Expressions of Radnor 2025 in which her painting Embraceable Ewe was recognized with the 2025 Best of Show award. This exhibition hangs in the Vidinghoff Lobby Gallery during Expressions of Radnor 2026.
Debbie Craley’s passion for art has been a constant for over two decades, with her continued artistic development flourishing at the Wayne Art Center. Her foundation is built upon studies with accomplished artists such as Michael Doyle and Karen Fogarty, and she actively cultivates her craft with current mentors Anne Graham and Stephanie Lieberman. Craley's commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her participation in workshops with numerous renowned artists, where she relentlessly pursues mastery of value, color, and a wide array of subjects. As a dedicated volunteer since WAC's Plein Air Festival's inception in 2007, Debbie remains a deeply engaged contributor.
Artist’s Statement
Even as a young child, it has been a dream of mine to be an artist. For me, art is about creating a mood in your mind and your home. My art subjects are based on whatever brings me joy in the moment. I love being a perpetual student, as I learn so much from my classmates and teachers alike. For me, being creative is a willingness to experiment and risk failure. The mindset requires curiosity, patience, and an openness to new ideas. Art remains a constant, enriching source of joy throughout my life.
