November marks the annual Wayne Art Center Pottery Sale and Studio Fundraiser, celebrating its fourth year. The weekend long festivities commence on Friday, November 7th from 3pm to 7pm with the Opening Happy Hour that includes Espresso Martinis, Cold Brew and Cucumber Mint Lemonade courtesy of Framer’s Café. The entertainment for the evening will be live music from The Percolators, a New Orleans style party band from 4pm to 6pm. Ceramic wares and Raffle baskets will be on display throughout the building. Door open early on Saturday with the continuation of ceramic sales from 10am to 5pm on November 8th. The weekend’s events conclude on Sunday, November 9th from 11am to 3pm with the Studio Supply Sale with a variety of pottery tools, glass working tools and Jewelry making equipment. Framer’s Cafe will be offering Cold Brew, Vietnamese Coffee and Coffee Slushies and will be conducting a Coffee Seminar from 1 to 1:30 pm. In addition to a large selection of local artists’ handmade ceramics for sale, there will be raffle baskets and 50/50 tickets for purchase, a mug sale featuring the work of Wayne Art Center ceramic students, and a studio equipment Silent Auction. As always, Studio tours and information on upcoming ceramic classes and workshops will continue through the weekend.
