The Josephine M. and Calvin W. Schmidt Scholarship Fund

Celebrating a legacy rooted in beauty, community and creativity, this new fund assists students with all creative pursuits including the passions of Jo and Cal-staying ahead of the curve, gathering friends around garden-grown meals, and embracing art in everyday life shaping their community and three grandchildren who proudly carry on their vibrant lifestyle.

Gallery Hours

Wayne Art Center’s Gallery Shop 

Monday-Friday from 10AM – 5PM

Support local and regional artists by purchasing a unique gift for a friend or family member. We have extraordinary works in all mediums – drawing, painting, pastels, ceramics, sculpture, etc.  The Gallery shop has everything from handmade cards for a house warming present to one of a kind serving platters made by renowned potters for the newlyweds.

Gift Certificates are also available for classes, workshops, gallery shop purchases, and original art acquisitions. Give us a call at 610-688-3553.

Closures

Wayne Art Center is closed on major national holidays. For weather related closures WAC follows the lead of the Radnor Township School District.

From the Intersection of North Wayne Avenue and Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue)

  • Turn onto South Wayne Avenue.
  • Turn right onto Conestoga Road.
  • Turn left onto Maplewood Avenue.
  • Wayne Art Center is on the right, before the railroad bridge.

From Paoli and points West

  • Travel east on Lancaster Avenue/US-30.
  • Turn right onto Conestoga Road. Continue through the next light at West Wayne Avenue.
  • Turn right onto Maplewood Avenue.
  • Wayne Art Center is on the right, before the railroad bridge.

From Philadelphia via I-76 West

  • Travel west from Philadelphia. Take exit 331A to merge onto I-476 S towards Chester.
  • Take exit 13 toward St. Davids/Villanova, then turn left onto E. Lancaster Avenue/US-30.
  • At first light, turn left onto Radnor/Chester Road.
  • Turn right onto Conestoga Road.
  • After about a mile, turn left onto Maplewood Avenue.
  • Wayne Art Center is on the right, before the railroad bridge.

From Delaware via I-476 North

  • Travel north on I-476.
  • Take exit 13 toward St. Davids/Villanova, then turn left onto E. Lancaster Avenue/US-30.
  • At second light, turn left onto Radnor/Chester Road.
  • Turn right onto Conestoga Road.
  • After about a mile, turn left onto Maplewood Avenue.
