The Wayne Art Center is seeking a full-time Adult Program Associate to oversee the Center’s award-winning and extensive adult art educational programs. Wayne Art Center was founded in 1930 as the first art center established on the Main Line and is currently the largest art center in the Philadelphia region. The Center’s new contemporary 30,000-square-foot facility features 9 state-of-the-art studios, 2 elegant exhibition galleries and is surrounded by beautiful walking gardens adjacent to the Radnor Trail.
The Adult Program Associate, under the supervision of the Executive Director, is responsible for developing, scheduling and supporting all educational programs and events related to adult programming, including 4 sessions of classes, workshops, faculty lectures and other educational programs. The Adult Program Associate will also be responsible for creating and distributing all press materials, print and web content, advertisements, posters, flyers, social media postings and e-mail communications regarding adult educational programs.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts and arts education with demonstrated administrative experience developing adult art educational programs and working with community partners. Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer skills required, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite and database management programs.
