John A. Wilson has been making pottery for over 20+ years. He was born and raised in Fredonia KS, and received his BFA in Ceramics from Emporia State University. He taught High School art and ceramics for 17 years, then, in 2008 John decided to pursue his life long dream of becoming a full-time studio potter. He is currently teaching students of all ages at the Wayne Art Center in Wayne PA, as well as working out of his studio at home.
