Claire Haik explores the hidden processes existing beneath the visual exterior in nature. She paints in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, and locally sourced hand crushed pigments. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts with a Master’s degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She was awarded the Lois and Charles X Carlson Landscape Residency and the Experience Economies: Landscape Experience Residency at Mildred’s Lane. Her work can be found at galleries throughout the Northeast. She teachers at Wayne Art Center, Historic Yellow Springs Art Center, and Kean University.
