American Landscapes
Things are heating up In the Kitchen!
Chefs ages 10 and up will work together in small groups to create multi-course meals each day. Discussions about nutrition, healthy eating and culinary techniques will add to hands-on cooking.
Class menus change weekly and explore the weekly themes inspired by Art Across America. Every day will be surprisingly delicious!
This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours.
*ALLERGIES: Please take into consideration, Wayne Art Center's cooking classes are not equipped to handle most food restrictions or substitutions.
Photographing Land & Sky
SESSION 02 PM
12:30pm - 3:00pm
American Landscapes
Create interesting photographs of the world around you. Learn how to use the settings on your camera to make images that are focused and well exposed.
Emphasizing landscapes this week, important topics included horizon placement, depth of filed and exposure challenges by including the sky in the fame.
Students meet in the studio each day to learn about a new topic, then go outside to create photographs and apply what was taught.
Hands-on experience, image review and critique provide regular feedback.
Bring your own DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) or compact camera. Phone cameras do not have the functionality for this class.
** EVERY CLASS - students need to bring:
1-- a camera
2--have a fully charged camera battery
3--have a memory card with plenty of space to shoot freely
4--dress for the weather since you will be outside every day
5--bring a water bottle
