Born and raised in Germany, Birgit majored in Art and English. For 13 years, she worked in government while expressing her creativity through watercolor painting on paper and silk. After traveling the world, she moved to the USA and expanded her teaching to include culinary arts. During the pandemic in 2022, Birgit transitioned from representational watercolor to abstract painting in acrylic and mixed media. She enjoys conveying ideas and emotions through her abstract work.
