Explore working with textiles and weaving during our afternoon workshop at Wayne Art Center. This art workshop is ideal for your 9 through 12-year-old artist. We will look at different textiles such as ribbons, yarn, felt and fabric to create individual weavings. Young artists will learn weaving terminology then create a color scheme.
Artists will build their weaving loom then select their materials to create their one-of-a-kind weaving that they will bring home at the end of the workshop.
