Barbara will share her vibrant approach to painting the clothed figure from life with broad strokes of soft pastel. Students will work alongside Barbara as she demonstrates painting two young people posing together in this one-day pastel painting workshop. She will discuss layering color after establishing the value structure of the forms using an underpainting as a foundation for finding the landmarks, shapes and planes of the form.
